This collection contains resources relating to the Ewaso Ngiro basin environmental monitoring network. The monitoring network covers an area exceeding 15,000 kilometers square and a large number of sub catchments extending from the snow capped peak of Mount Kenya to the sprawling arid lowlands. The monitoring system cover a wide range of parameters collected using both manual and automatic monitoring equipments. The parameters collected include rainfall, temperature, wind speed, humidity, sunshine hours, radiation and evaporation among others.
